I hope everyone is excited for this week’s show! This week we will be bringing you some ideas of how to set yourself up for success. First I will talk with Pam McElvane, CEO and publisher of Diversity MBA Magazine. Pam will challenge you to be authentic and be strategic in what you want in life. She gives some great examples of how she did just that. She will explain how she used a volunteer strategy that helped her with leadership, a trend watching strategy that led to her success. She will also discuss how to effectively use social media as a success strategy.
I will wrap up the hour giving insight around leadership. I will address best practices for leaders in creating vision, building alignment around that vision and championing execution of the vision. Finally, we will focus on understanding how your tendencies influence your effectiveness in specific leadership situations. The goal is to help you develop preferred behaviors that are based on best practices. And in the spirit of the late Roger Ebert, I’ll see you in the airwaves!
